How many will you need?
- A trestle table takes eight at a push, six comfortably. For a sit-down meal we would allow six, so 40 guests works out at seven tables and 40 chairs.
- A bar table takes four standing, three comfortably, so for a cocktail or standing function allow one per three or four guests, with stools around each.
- Cocktail parties usually need fewer chairs than people, since not everyone sits at once.
- If you are not sure, ring us with your guest numbers and we will work it out with you.
